On 6 July 2016 we made a decision that most people in our lives thought was a terrible idea.
We quit our jobs. We set up a workshop. And we started making sex toys full time.
Not because we had a business plan or a degree or any real idea of what we were doing. Because we loved sex toys and we were disappointed by almost everything available to us. Too cheap. Too poorly made. Full of materials we didn't trust against or in our bodies. Designed for marketing catalogues, not for actual pleasure.
So we did what people say you should do if you think you can do better.
We went and did it.
Ten years later.
Ten years later, we're still here. Still making everything ourselves. Still pouring every toy by hand in our UK workshop. Still using the same platinum silicone we trusted from the beginning. Just wiser, faster, better at it, with a team around us that shares the same values we started with.
We won't pretend it's been straightforward. There were years where we genuinely didn't know if it would work. Years where the business was hard and the decisions were harder. Years where we had to make cuts and changes and ask a lot of the people around us.
But here we are. Ten years old. Still handmade. Still yours.
The Independence Day Sale.
The Independence Day Sale was something we ran in the early years to give back. To lower the price for 24 hours and say thank you to the people who took a chance on us when we were two people with a workshop and a dream and absolutely no guarantee it would amount to anything.
We stopped it five years ago when the business was going through a difficult period and we didn't have the capacity to do it justice. We always wanted to bring it back.
This felt like the right year.
