Back in June last year we launched our Proud to Support Pride collection and pledged to give £10 of every sale to a LGBTQ+ charity
Well, its time for another update on this project and to let you know how much you have raised since October.
First, we want to apologise because this update should have come much sooner. We have no excuses it’s our own fault and we will ensure that moving forward updates WILL happen every 6 months.
So let’s look at the numbers, from October 1st to June 22nd there have been 16 sales of the Proud to support Pride collection across all of our platforms. That’s £160 you have raised by purchasing from our Proud to support Pride range.
We have decided to support UK Black Pride.
UK Black Pride is Europe’s largest celebration for LGBTQ people of African, Asian, Caribbean, Latin American and Middle Eastern descent. We are a grassroots movement that advocates, fights for, supports and celebrates LGBTQ people of colour and your donations go towards our annual (digital or physical) celebrations, community outreach and hardship funds. Help us be the change we need to see in the world!
UK Black Pride
However, we feel that we haven’t done enough this year to support Pride positive charity’s, after all, that’s why we have the Proud to support Pride collection so we have decided to match the £160 raised by you and therefore we have donated £320 to UK Black Pride.
