This toy is available in three silicone firmness levels:

Extra Soft
The most give of the three. The ribs compress under your weight, which cushions everything and makes it the gentlest option.

Soft
Still plenty of cushion, but the ribs hold their shape better, so you feel more of the detail as you move.

Medium
Very firm. This one is for people who specifically want a much firmer clitoral toy and it's a lot for everyone else. There's no softening it once it's poured.

Not sure? Go Extra Soft or Soft.
Pick Medium only if you already know firm is what you're after.

1. Thread the straps through the base and secure the grinder to a pillow, cushion, chair or a partner's thigh. Check it doesn't shift before you get on.

2. Apply water-based lubricant to the ribbed grinding section, the insertable and yourself. Be generous, ribs need lube to glide rather than drag.

3. Drop your body wand into the cup in the cauldron. Make sure it's seated properly, the vibration travels out from there.

4. Straddle the grinder and take your time guiding the tentacle into place. Lower yourself slowly and adjust until it sits comfortably.

5. Switch the wand on at a low setting and give yourself a moment before turning it up.

6. Start rocking gently. The ribs behind the wand head are where the strongest sensation is, so small adjustments matter more than big movements.

7. Keep going at your own pace. You can stay still and let the vibration do the work, or rock to bring the ribs into play.

8. When you're finished, switch off and lift the wand out. Wash with warm soapy water or a suitable toy cleaner and let it dry fully before storing.

The first Witch's Cauldron picked up a 2023 AltStar Award for Best Fantasy Grinder and the question we kept getting afterwards was whether we'd make one with something insertable.

The tentacle was the answer. Rather than bolting a separate insertable onto a grinding surface, we ran one shape through both. It leaves the cauldron ribbed, which is the part your clit sits on, then curls up and thickens into the part that goes inside. Because that ribbed section sits directly behind the wand head, the strongest vibration on the toy lands exactly where most people want it.

The Cauldron II came from Odyssey, our darker sister brand, where the whole line started. Same wide, patient shape as the original, same idea that nothing good comes quickly out of a cauldron.

How is this different from the first Witch's Cauldron?
The original is a clitoral grinder with an optional bullet. This one adds an insertable tentacle and takes a full-size body wand instead, so it's bigger, stronger and does both at once. If you only want external, the first one is still the better buy.

Is a wand included?
No, you'll need a full-size body wand. Use one you already own or add one to your order.

Do I need a wand to use it?
No. It works as a plain grinder without one. But the whole design is built around getting vibration out to the ribs, so you'd be leaving a lot behind.

Is the insertable textured?
Yes. It's ribbed with texture along its length rather than smooth, so you feel it as you move rather than it just sitting there.

How much of it goes in?
11.4 cm / 4.5 in is usable, and it's 14.0 cm / 5.5 in around at the widest. Worth measuring against something you already own if you're unsure.

What straps do I get?
80cm straps come as standard, which suit a pillow or cushion. You can upgrade to 1.5m straps, or take both, if you want to strap it to a chair or a thigh.

Which firmness should I pick?
Extra Soft or Soft for most people. Medium is very firm and only worth it if you specifically want a much firmer clitoral toy.

Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Close, but not identical. Every one is made by hand, so colour placement shifts a little from piece to piece. Signature comes out closest to the images. It never affects safety or how it works.

How do I clean it?
Warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner, working into the ribbing and around the bubbles. Let it dry fully before you put it away.
